Chartwell was closed, as was Emmetts Garden, so we stopped in Nether & Middle Wallop on the way from Gatwick to Devon. The Miss Marple series starring Joan Hickson was filmed here. It was pouring rain at the time, so we were not able to get out and walk about. Right after this, we learned that the GPS system prefers one lane but bi-directional country roads.
